Description

Calling all students and young water researchers: Tell us YOUR VISION for the future of WATER RESEARCH!

The World Youth Parliament for Water’s Research Group is proud to launch its new ‘Youth voices on the future of water research’ campaign! Together with students and young water researchers from all around the world, we want to imagine the future of water research. What do we want to research, and how do we want to do it?

Over the next two weeks, we will collect video messages from around the world. Together, we will bring these messages to the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal, where we will host a round table discussion with young researchers, reflecting on current challenges and imagining pathways to a more inclusive research future.
We will also release a white paper on youth research priorities in the water sector that will summarize everybody’s input and present key messages to the current research community.

Our ‘Youth voices on the future of water research’ campaign gives YOU a platform to share your vision for future water research!

  • Which emerging research themes deserve more attention?
  • Which challenges do you encounter in your own research?
  • How can we use new technologies to innovate water research?
  • What needs to happen to make water research more inclusive?

Add YOUR VOICE to the campaign via our submission form now!

Submission deadline: 2 March 2022

Please note: A Google account is required to use this submission form. This is due to technical reasons related to the video submission.
