Objective
Launched in 2017, the AYPW has been working dilligently to promote the involvement of youth in water related issues in Afghanistan. Our three main objectives are to raise awareness, promote local action and advocate for concrete action on water issues.
Key actions
- Taking part and animating National Olympiads on Integrated water resources management (IWRM) at the Kabul Polytechnical University, gathering over 200+ student applications
- Attendance in various international conference on water, notably in Brasilia at the World Water Forum
- Water saving awareness campaigns in schools and universities
