Objective
Water scarcity, environmental quality challenges, and supply distribution concerns define Syria's water management dilemma.
To overcome these challenges, we need to ensure our rising generation of young people is empowered to succeed.
We need the youth to put their ideas into action more than ever before.
This having been said, we, as the Syrian Youth Parliament of Water Embrace the Waves, still hope for a better future of peace and justice by working for the youth with the youth..
We envision youth inclusion in the decision-making process of water .
Through raising awareness about the water crises in Syria (scarcity conditions and conservation practices).
Through advocacy to stimulate youth-led debate and reflection about water.
Through research to exchange ideas and motivate better water policies and innovative actions to address the Syrian Chapter.
And we must do it together. Because, together, we’ll combine our strengths to spark new ideas and new initiatives... and, together, we’ll bring them to life.
