Objective
The Kazakhstani Youth Parliament for Water was launched to address water resource challenges in Kazakhstan and empower youth. Our organization is dedicated to fostering sustainable water management and equitable access for current and future generations. Guided by a vision of sustainable and equitable water resources, we unite young leaders to advocate for clean water and actively participate in shaping water policies at all levels.
Key actions
Youth Leadership in Water Policy: Empowering youth to influence decision-making at local, national, and international levels.
Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building: Facilitating learning and experience exchange among young water specialists.
Awareness Campaigns: Promoting awareness on sustainable water practices, technologies, and issues related to clean water and sanitation (WASH).
Collaboration for Policy Impact: Engaging with governments, NGOs, and international bodies to ensure effective water management policies.
As an example for Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building, our member Tolegen Akynzhanov - developed a tool to assess water risk data for cities and key rural settlements in Kazakhstan.
