Objective

The Haitian Youth Parliament for Water and Sanitation (HYPWS) is an apolitical, secular and democratic association affiliated to World Youth Parliament for Water, which brings together young people across Haiti working in the field of water and sanitation or who are passionate about it. Its objectives are to: 1. Participate, on behalf of young people, in debates on water and sanitation issues at local, national and global levels; 2. Realize and support programs/projects related to water and sanitation for sustainable results; 3. Conduct local and national consultations on Youth, Water and Sanitation; Collaborate with other associations/organizations working in water and sanitation fields.

Key actions

To achieve its objectives, the Haitian Youth Parliament for Water and Sanitation intends to: a) Promote the networking, associating with organization at national and international levels and participating at some forums, conferences about water and sanitation; b) Propose concrete solutions related to water and sanitation through documents and advocacies; c) Raise public awareness, especially youths, on water and sanitation issues; Upset the actions of HYPWS, national and international documents related to water and sanitation; d)Participate in the municipal structures of governance of water and sanitation.
