Objective
Launched in 1998 as an initiative of Solidarity Water Europe, the 1st European Youth Parliament for Water (EYPW) was held in Espalion, France. This marked the beginning of a youth network that takes action for water throughout Europe. The European Youth Parliament for Water aims to promote youth involvement in the water sector by increasing their awareness of water resource management issues and by fostering understanding of citizenship and democracy.

- More than 2000 youth mobilised in the long term
- More than 12 000 youth and partners reached indirectly
