Jeffery Liao
I am Jeffery, a medical doctor from Taiwan who has been caring about water and human rights issues. I have been involved in human rights education since 2012, devoting myself to promoting anti-bullying and anti-discrimination. Since 2014, I have been a member of Taiwan Water Youth, which is a group of young people who are dedicated to raising awareness of local and global water issues. In 2018, I participated in the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) general assembly and was elected as the Vice Focal Point of Asia.
I am honored to become a member of the nominations committee, and will be looking forward to seeing your applications!

Muhammad Wasif
Mr. Muhammad Wasif Bashir Babar born & raised in Pakistan and a very energetic, globally well recognized young Human Rights to WASH leader, youth ambassador and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocator. He hold Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Science (Specialization in Sustainable Water Sanitation Health & Development); Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology while working in Water sector since 2008 with different national and international developmental, humanitarians and research organization. He is Founding President of Pakistan Youth Parliament for Water (PYPW) and Active Member of World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) since 2014. He is playing his role as a South Asian Representative at WYPW.

Juliane Schilinger
Juliane Schillinger is the coordinator of the WYPW Research Group and an active member of WYPW’s General Assembly 2018-2021. She has an extensive background in water governance and climate adaptation and is currently pursuing her PhD degree at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Her research analyzes the impacts of armed conflict on local water management in different countries across the Middle East. Juliane is also a founding member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association, a community of practice focused on the linkages between natural resources and peacebuilding.

Leopold Ngom
Leopold Ngom is the vice focal point of Africa for WYPW. Born in Senegal, Leopold is an engineer in water and sanitation and entrepreneur in the field of water, sanitation and agriculture. In 2018, Leopold co-founded Wash for All, an association that aims to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged populations by contributing to the improvement of their access to Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. Through his studies, his work and his active engagements, Leopold aims for a better world with access to water for all and a healthy environment, especially for disadvantaged people in his region, country, and continent.
