The year 2022 has been marked by several important events and moments for the water sector, such as the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal, or the Dushanbe Water Process in Tajikistan. The World Youth Parliament for Water took on an important role in these conferences and several members had the opportunity to attend them.
Looking ahead, as we now enter the last months leading up to the UN 2023 Water Conference, which will take place in New York City in March 2023, pre-meetings and preparation events are in full swing. On 24th October 2022, young leaders participated in the stakeholder consultation on the preparation of the Conference, alongside an estimated 1200 other stakeholders from across the water arena.
