Description
Members of the WYPW organised a BluePeace Index event, conducted at the Oregon State University to see how well the seven riparian states of the US manage the Colorado River Basin, and whether they are ready for climate change and future scenarios of water scarcity.
Through research and collaborative work during the workshop, the students of the university and online participants, calculated the Colarado River Basin’s BluePeace Index, that scored 64.2 out of 100.
We’re very grateful to all participants, the OSU water students for their hard work and Professors Michael Campana and Mary Santelmann for supporting the initiative, and Ainur Kokimova from Water Youth Network, that joined us remotely.
