For a full week, the youth present at the 15th European Youth Parliament for Water took part in different workshops in which they learned about project management, communications, advocacy and were called to propose projects that they would try to implement in their respective countries at the end of the Parliament.
A key objective of the Youth Parliament for Water is to ensure a continued commitment and engagement of youth in water related issues. During the 15th European Youth Parliament for Water, in Niznhy Novgorod, Russia, the participants worked together and produced a Collective Commitment Declaration.
The declaration formalized their vision of sustainable water management and the importance of youth involvement in finding concrete solutions as agents of change. Through this declaration, they acknowledge the work that has to be done, the learning acquired during the Parliament and they commit to working on the projects that they proposed.
